| UPDATE ON TICKETS:
Additional tickets for the game will be sold on Friday beginning at 8:30 am. Tickets will be sold from the ticket booth of the ICHS Auditorium. These tickets will be $20 and allow entrance to the game starting at 6:45 pm.
All $22 ticket holders will be allowed into the game starting at 5:45 pm.
Fans will not be allowed on the field immediately following the game. There will be a trophy ceremony and team recognition. Again, fans will not be allowed onto the field immediately after the game.
FCCLA Leadership Conference

Irwin County FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) attended DISCOVER Leadership Conference on Saturday, August 26, 2017 along with hundreds of other students from around Georgia. Officers attending included Chelsea Champion (Chapter President), Lia Olguin (Vice President), and Katy Smith (VP of Membership). Officers attended workshops to hone their leadership skills and help them to succeed in the upcoming year as a chapter. The 2017-18 school year will provide students with leadership, community service, and personal growth experiences. Katy Smith said "FCCLA is the ultimate leadership experience, and has provides me with many tools and experiences that will carry me into my future career and family relations."

Indian Named Most Positive Boys Alternative Sports Athlete

CONGRATULATIONS to Reid Fletcher for being named the Most Positive Boys Alternative Sports (Fishing) Athlete in Southwest GA! Ryan Pederson, Director of Programming for Positive Athlete Georgia, wrote: "We are thrilled to be recognizing (Reid) as one of our regional award winners in this year’s Positive Athlete Georgia program!
"This year has been a wonderful year for Positive Athlete with growth all around the state. Over 4,700 student-athletes and coaches from over 400 high schools were nominated this year, and only about 8% of those nominees will be recognized as a regional winner. (Reid is) the best of the best!"

MAKE THE CALL AND STOP VIOLENCE IN YOUR SCHOOL
The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll- free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities.
