Class of 2019 Parents/Guardians: Irwin County High School will be hosting a FAFSA (Federal Financial Aid) Help Session on January 16 in the HS Counseling Office. Mrs. Carol Ann Lott from Georgia Student Finance Commission will be on campus from 9 am to 3 pm to assist parents and students in completing the FAFSA. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the key to obtaining federal financial aid like grants, work-study, student loans, and some scholarships used to pay for college. MAKE THE CALL AND STOP VIOLENCE IN YOUR SCHOOL

The 1-877-SAY-STOP toll- free hotline was created by the Georgia Department of Education. Students can anonymously report anyone who has a weapon, has threatened to bring a weapon to school, or has violated any other school safety rules. The hotline hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; after 5 p.m. all calls will be forwarded to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Callers will not be asked to reveal their identities.
