Tomorrow's tennis match with Fitzgerald has been pushed back to start at 4:30, and the JV girls will play following the varsity match.

Well folks here they are! This year’s baseball hats are now available! We will have a few up at the high school office for sale (probably be there Tuesday)that you could stop by and grab and we will also have some in the concession stand. They are $25. Get yours and get ready for the season! Go Indians!

Our school community is grieving today over the loss of a beloved paraprofessional and friend, Marissa Purvis. Marissa gained her heavenly wings this morning. Students, staff, family and friends will miss her greatly, as she was a bright spot in our school system.
Please join me in prayer for her family. May we keep Jed, Jesten, and Maylin in our prayers. We also extend condolences and prayers for extended family members and close friends.
Lord give us wisdom to minister unto these with love and caring. May those remaining feel Your love and Grace.

Irwin County High School Wrestling
Our boys (and girls) had a tournament at Harlem High School today. Irwin came in 3rd place out of 13 teams! We had two wrestlers win 1st place, three won 2nd place, and two won 4th place. Jordan Dunlap walked away with Most Outstanding Wrestler for the lower weight classes. As always, our mat girls were happy to work tables and were so great! Our next event will be at Coffee County High School on Tuesday, January 4th.

UPDATE: The (P-EBT) issuance schedule that was set for delivery in the state of Georgia has been met. Childcare benefits have been released and teams have also finalized processing benefits for K-12 students statewide.
This means that eligible students who are also SNAP (formerly food stamp) recipients will have P-EBT benefits automatically loaded to their cards before the Christmas holiday.
***Non-SNAP student recipients should allow an additional three to four weeks for a P-EBT card to be mailed to the address listed on file with their local school during the 2020-2021 term. Please allow through January 15, 2022, for card delivery prior to submitting an inquiry.

Christmas Concert
The concert will be held on Tuesday, December 14th at 6:30 p.m. at the ICHS auditorium. The concert will feature the Jazz Band, the 6th Grade Band, the ICMS Concert Band and the ICHS Concert Band. Come out to support these talented band members and hear some Christmas tunes!
Irwin County Schools will observe Christmas Break December 22, 2021 through January 10/2022. Students will return on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.
